The New Organic Chemicals Business mainly handles isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for industrial use. Since IPA is compatible with both of water and oil, it is able to dissolve a wide variety of substances, and it is widely used as a solvent for paints and inks. In addition, IPA is used as a medical disinfectant before patients receive injections.
