Tokuyama has a Development Dept. and Planning Dept. in each business division, creating an R&D structure that places more emphasis on customer relationships.

In the Research & Development Div., we focus our R&D efforts on the creation of new businesses. The Corporate Development Dept. is engaged primarily in the development of new businesses. The R&D Planning Dept., which was newly established in 2010, is engaged parficularly in searching for R&D themes. In addition, the division also consists of the Intellectual Property Dept. and the RC Research Lab. to provide support for R&D activities across the Company.
