Company History
Tokuyama Corporation was originally established in 1918 as Nihon Soda Kogyo Co., Ltd. The company's founder, Katsujiro Iwai, aimed to set up production of soda ash in Japan. During a history spanning over 100 years, Tokuyama confronted a changing environment while contributing to the development and growth of Japan's economy. The company is currently engaged in a wide array of business fields.
