Tokuyama Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Tokuyama") hereby announces the establishment of TOKUYAMA VIETNAM CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "TVC"), a subsidiary engaged in the production and sale of semiconductor-grade polycrystalline silicon in Vietnam, effective from August 8, 2024. This follows the announcement made on February 22, 2024, regarding the establishment of a producing and sales subsidiary for polycrystalline silicon in Vietnam.

Considering the anticipated further expansion of the semiconductor market, Tokuyama has been striving to ensure a stable supply of polycrystalline silicon, a wafer material used in advanced semiconductors, to strengthen the supply chain. TVC, as the producing and sales subsidiary in Vietnam, will be responsible for the final process of polycrystalline silicon production and will contribute to the expansion of the advanced semiconductor market in collaboration with Tokuyama.
