Personnel who consistently surpass their predecessors

I am currently engaged in the sale of dental-use composite resin fillers. When I first entered the Company in 2000, I was assigned to the Accounting Department. Thereafter, I was involved in domestic sales, and am today working vigorously to conquer overseas fields. There is a saying that teeth play a critical role in every person's health and well-being. While this saying has continued to provide the motivation for my work going forward, Japan's declining birthrate and aging population has dampened business opportunities at home. With this in mind, opportunities clearly exist to cultivate new markets overseas, and I feel confident that efforts here are steadily bearing fruit. Having said this, however, each country and region has its own circumstances and business culture. This is true for example in the U.S. as well as Southeast Asia. Each new market is therefore like groping in the dark.

As I move forward, I will draw on the unique strengths and wealth of experience of those who have gone before me, while at the same time placing the utmost importance on my own attributes. For example, the experiences of those who previously cultivated new markets in South America have proven extremely valuable. Looking closely at past efforts aimed at separating the important from the mundane, the baton has now been passed to myself and the current generation. The world still offers a host of untapped markets, not least of which is the continent of Africa.
