Hydrophilic spherical porous silica with high-purity "Airlica™ RK Series"

Airlica™ RK Series is a hydrophilic spherical porous silica with high purity.
A new manufacturing process enables to reduce sodium content, which is contained a lot of amount in conventional porous silica.
The particle shape is spherical, and the particle size is uniform with few rough particles.
The primary particles, forming the pore structures, are large; therefore, the specific surface area is lower than conventional porous silica.
Although the surface is hydrophilic with no surface treatment, Airlica™ RK has high pore volume.
The narrow pore size distribution is one of the features for Airlica™ RK.
